Cadapdapan Rice Terraces

Cadapdapan Rice Terraces is an agricultural landscape destination in Candijay, Bohol, Philippines. Layered rice fields reveal the agricultural character of Candijay’s interior. The terraces are a working landscape, so their appearance changes with planting, growth and harvest rather than remaining a fixed shade of green. Visitors can appreciate the contours of the slopes and the relationship between cultivation and the surrounding valley. A respectful walk or viewpoint stop offers a quieter experience than a conventional attraction, with the nearby waterfall providing a possible second stop. The best visit leaves farming activities and field boundaries undisturbed. Stay on established visitor paths and ask permission before entering cultivated plots. Confirm the arrival arrangements before leaving your accommodation, especially when relying on local transport. Keep the itinerary flexible enough to follow current guidance from the people managing the site. Comfortable footwear, drinking water and consideration for other visitors make the outing easier to enjoy.
