Sayahan Falls

Sayahan Falls is a waterfall destination in Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines. This Ormoc waterfall adds a trail-based freshwater experience to the city’s highland attractions. The appeal lies in reaching a cascade within green surroundings and spending time observing the water and rock landscape. The approach should be treated as part of the excursion, with local directions more useful than assuming a road ends at the falls. Travelers who enjoy nature walks can pair the destination with a broader upland itinerary when timing and conditions allow. The visit benefits from a flexible plan that responds to rainfall and trail advice. Confirm the trailhead and guide arrangements locally, and reassess plans after heavy rain. Leave enough daylight for the return journey, especially when exploring an unfamiliar access route. A dry bag is useful for keeping a phone and essential belongings protected from spray. The most rewarding photographs often include the surrounding vegetation and rock setting as well as the cascade.
