Sunken Cemetery

Sunken Cemetery is a visitor destination in Catarman, Camiguin, Philippines. Its key highlights include an offshore cross marker, volcanic history, and coastal views. The shoreline viewpoint and any boat or snorkeling excursion are separate experiences. Look closely at the layout, materials, and surviving details rather than rushing between photo spots. Reading the site markers or choosing a local guide can make the buildings and monuments easier to understand. A visit works best when there is time to walk, pause, and consider how the place relates to the surrounding community. Keep to visitor areas and leave fragile structures untouched. The location is Bonbon, Catarman, Camiguin, Philippines. From Manila, travel from Manila to Cagayan de Oro, transfer to Balingoan, ferry to Camiguin, and continue by road to Bonbon in Catarman. Plan the journey and the visit together so that transfers leave enough time to enjoy the destination without rushing. For independent travelers, arranging the final local transfer and a return pickup in advance can make the day easier to manage.
